How To Sing the September Song

September is significant for various reasons around the world. A few examples:
  • Father's day celebrated on the first Sunday of September in Australia and New Zealand
  • Brazil's independence day is September 7, Chile's September 18, Mexico's September 16 and Uzbekistan's September 1.
  • First Monday in September is Labour day in USA and Canada
  • September 11 is Patriot day in USA in honour of those who lost their lives in the September 11 2001 attack.
"From a Christian point of view of course we do want a peaceful world, and I think September 11 did actually make people aware not only of vulnerability and how transitory life is, but there are forces of good and honour and justice which speak to us of God and his love for us.  George Carey

Seasons change and time moves on, but what you choose to remember is what counts. The memory of September 11 still rings in our minds and so many people still hurt from memories of lost loved ones. However we can choose to either live in the past or move on and step into the next phase.

September is the best time to do just that!

It's the beginning of the last quarter of the year, showing a glimpse of the new year setting in. It's time to move out of the past and step into the future. Sing a new song.

The September song is the smile on you face, the joy in your heart and the feeling of gratitude expressed in words of kindness! It's knowing that despite what's happening around, there's light at the end of the tunnel. It's believing in God's love and trusting Him to keep you in all situations.

How do you sing the September Song?

  • Wake up every morning and find something to be grateful for.
  • Determine to put a smile on your face and feel good for the gift of life.
  • Find a song that expresses your happy thoughts. Play it loud, sing along, dance to it - express your inner joy!
  • Don't worry, be happy. It works all the time - the best therapy for a depressed or broken heart
September is a great month. That is if you make the choice to want it to be.

Sing a new song, septemberly!
