Santa meets Jesus: A Post-Christmas Conversation

Santa: Hey Jesus
Jesus: Hey Santa, how are you?
Santa: Very well. Slightly tired, been around the world in one night *yawns*
Jesus: I see. You're getting too old for this, any plans to retire soon?
Santa: Retire? Nah, the world needs me. They need to believe I'm real. So I can't retire
Jesus: I'm not so sure about the "believe" part. Humans find it hard to believe in what they can't see.
Santa: I don't know about you but I've been around a long time to know they do. You just need the right story.
Jesus: Story?

Santa: Yes, story. Everyone loves stories. That's why you have the Nativity story and I've got the North Pole, magical elves and reindeer-pulled sleigh going round the world in one night etc etc
Jesus: But I didn't create the Nativity Story.
Santa: Yea...well it was created for you.
Jesus: I'm not interested in the story, I'm interested in the people. That's why I came...
Santa: *laughs out loud*..oh Jesus..you have to move with the times. Re-invent yourself. I can show you how I've done it...but I'm on vacation now...I need to rest and start preparations for next Christmas.
Jesus: You don't understand Santa. All I want is to be remembered for the love I have for humanity, the sacrifice I made for salvation and the price I paid...
Santa: *yawns* Yea I'm sure they know that...that's why it's called Christmas. You give them the love, I give them the experience. All is well that ends well. I really have to go now *looks at his watch* expectations are high for next Christmas. It was much easier last century..but you know they've got all the fancy gadgets now...hold on Jesus I need to check my iPad for my schedule for next year.
Jesus: Santa, do you think they'll ever find the real meaning of Christmas?
Santa: *mounts his sleigh ready to leave* We'll find out in the next 365 days *flies away to the north pole*
Jesus: Santa you forgot your hat...
