As OASIS celebrated it's one year anniversary, the question remains on how much impact has it really had? Or is this just another propaganda to get people excited and stir up emotions? Is OASIS overrated?

Poem - No Greater love
This amazing feeling
to be loved
unconditional love
undeserved, unworthy
To hear your heart beat
beating with rhythms of love
the warmth of your embrace
no greater feeling
it's like the freshness of spring
the brightness of the summer sun
the colours of autumn leaves
the purity of winter snow
Pure, undefiled
sweet smelling savour
lavished without limits
free access, no discrimination
This love
makes my heart glow
For God so loved
no greater love.

May Mentality - The Rise Of A New Breed
It's a new month. May
It's that month. May.
It's that word. May. Allow. Permit. Let.
It's the signal. Time to take action.
It's the clarion call. Hear. Heed.
It's that song. Moving. Forward.
It's the new breed. Takers. Overcomers.
It's the new mentality. Away with the norm.
It's the rebellion. The usual gives way.
It's the emergence of a new system.
It's that time. Time is now. Act.
It's the rise of a new breed. Strong. Determined.
It's the time to march. To Battle. Be Brave.
It's that feeling.
The heart is at the weakest
The battle is at its hottest
Fret Not!
Victory is near!
No time for tears.
Speak to yourself.
Encourage yourself.
May.
Allow.
Permit.
Emit.
Let.
New Month
New breed.
Enlist.
Be the light.
Bring the peace.

Event Review: OASIS AprilFeast 2012 - What else can happen?
There's a sense of excitement, anticipation and anxiety that seems to build towards the third saturday of every month. In this case, it's the first "Lunch" edition of Oasis - your place of refreshing. (Sigh of relief for non-early risers). What else can happen - we've seen it all before! Afterall it's been 6 editions, so there shouldn't be so much fuss.
The theme keeps getting bizarre - "War Cry - The Awakening" - ugh?

Poem: Herein is the love that we feel
Herein is the love that we feel
a deep stiring in our souls
a longing desire to make
to break
to explore
to feel
to transcend
Herein is the love that we feel
an inner longing for something deeper
someone true and passionate
to enter the place
where everything works out
where everyone feels loved

Event Review: Altarsound's OASIS February 2012 - did heaven come down?
Following on the heels of the "Worship Experience - III" held November last year and previous 5 editions, expectations were high as Altarsound Ministries announced the first OASIS event for 2012 to be held Saturday February 18. The theme "Piping Heaven Unto The Earth" raised eyebrows with many wondering and questioning - what's the rationale behind this?
According to the visioneer Pastor Alexander Victor, OASIS aims to be a forum "to connect with God in worship, prayer, Bible exposition, manifestations of the Holy Spirit along with fantastic food and fellowship as always!"
With so much events currently centered around the worship theme, it's daunting to see how OASIS will be any different?
Here's an account of my personal experience:
